JIVOR Capital becomes an investor in Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv Basketball Club.
London, May 16, 2026 — JIVOR Capital today announced that it has become an investor in Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv Basketball Club.
The investment reflects JIVOR Capital’s confidence in the club’s leadership, passionate
supporter base, and growing international profile as one of European basketball’s most
ambitious organizations.

About Hapoel Tel Aviv Basketball Club
Founded in 1935, Hapoel Tel Aviv Basketball Club is one of Israel’s most historic and
passionately supported basketball organizations. The club competes at the highest levels of Israeli and European basketball. On August 11st, 2023, Hapoel Tel Aviv transitioned to private ownership, with Ofer Yannay, through Ofer Yanai Sport Ltd., acquiring a majority share of 81%, while 19% remained with the fan association.
In 2025, Gili Raanan, Micky Malka, and Alan Howard also joined Ofer Yannay.
In the 2025/26 season, Hapoel Tel Aviv made history by qualifying for the EuroLeague for the first time, becoming one of the season’s biggest surprises, with a top-tier roster.
On April 16th, 2026, the team finished the regular season in 6th place in the standings,
secured its spot in the EuroLeague playoffs, and also earned a place in the EuroLeague for the 2026/27 season.
